In this paper, we confirm that the relationship between the nonlinear magnetic properties of electrical steel and the electromagnetic contact force is a one-to-one correspondence. Based on this result we propose a new technique to measure effective BH points. The proposed technique uses DC magnetic fluxes, eliminating the problems of eddy currents and harmonic induced voltages in electrical steel sheets that occurred when using the existing Epstein frame, and unlike VSM, there are no air-gap, allowing high-magnetic field areas to be measured with low power. Based on this relationship the magnetic flux density and permeability of the specimen are extracted using a pre-calculated look-up table using the measured contact force of the force sensor and the corresponding BH points of the electrical steel sheet are extracted. By confirming the validity of the proposed method through the production and experimentation of a simplified permanent magnet axisymmetric model, we aim to show a new method that can effectively measure the BH curve data of electrical steel sheets.
