Structured Static Output Feedback H∞ Control for Discrete-time Singular Systems

This paper deals with the design of static output feedback (SOF) H-infinity controller for discrete-time singular systems. The design procedure of the SOF H-infinity controller without structure constraints is first proposed and then extended to the case with structure constraints where certain elements of the control gain matrix are zero. The proposed approach can provide less conservative results compared to existing methods. Numerical examples of SOF H-infinity controllers both with and without structure constraints are given to demonstrate the effectiveness of the proposed method.
