IB DP(Diploma Programme)의 이론적 토대에 관한 연구: 존 듀이의 교육 철학을 중심으로

초록

This study begins with the recognition that, as the IB education spreads in Korea, most previous research on the IB DP has focused on the practical aspects of its introduction, while there is a lack of discussion on its theoretical foundations. Exploring the philosophical foundations and theories underlying the IB DP is essential for a deeper understanding of the program. Therefore, this study developed its research from the perspective of Dewey's educational philosophy. Through this, the study examined the meaning of ‘lifelong learner’, the status of ‘interests’ and ‘learner’, and the nature of ‘action’, revealing the theoretical foundation of IB DP education in Dewey's educational philosophy.
