학령기 자녀의 학부모를 위한학부모교육 프로그램 개발*

초록

Purpose: The purpose of this study was to develop a parent education program that helps parents to learn effective parenting skills for their school-aged chidlren. Method: The program was developed based on the four stages: literature rieview, parents' needs assessment, program design, and validation. Results: First, the program consisted of three areas (i.e., Parents, Children, and School). Second, it consisted of twelve sessions including competent parenting skills, effective parent-child communications, and so forth. Third, each session was 120- minuate long and proceeds in the order of introduction, self-awareness, skill training, and problem solving. Finally, the theoretical and practical validity was reviewed and approved by the experts. Conclusion: Implications of this study and suggestions for the future study were discussed.
