보호자 중재 유형이 어린이의 온라인 동영상 제작 참여에 미치는 영향: 숏폼 콘텐츠 이용의 매개효과와 스마트폰 소유 여부의 조절효과 중심으로

With the evolution of the digital media environment, understanding the relationship between parental mediation and children's participation in online video creation has become increasingly important. This study uses data from “Children and Media in Korea 2023” to analyze the mediating effect of short-form content consumption frequency and the moderating role of smartphone ownership in the relationship between parental mediation strategies (active and supervisory) and children's online video production. The findings reveal that supervisory mediation negatively correlates with children's participation in online video creation. Short-form content consumption frequency positively influences such participation. However, a significant mediating effect was found only between supervisory mediation and online video creation. Additionally, smartphone ownership moderates the indirect effect of active mediation on online video creation through short-form content consumption. This study expands parental mediation research by systematically analyzing the relationship between parental mediation and digital media usage, positioning children as active media producers.
