QUIC 프로토콜의 혼잡제어 성능 비교 분석

초록

The QUIC protocol has recently been proposed as a new transportlayer protocol. Compared to TCP, QUIC offers new features such as0-RTT and multi-streaming, while employing congestion controlmechanisms similar to those used in TCP. This paper analyzes theimpact of congestion control mechanisms on the performance ofQUIC. Experimental results show that QUIC performs data transmissionmore effectively than TCP as packet loss increases, and that the stablecongestion control schemes, such as Reno and CUBIC, can providebetter goodput performance, compared to the other aggressivecongestion control schemes, such as Vegas and BBR.
