바이오헬스 산업의 경영 효율성 분석: 시장점유율을 중심으로

The biohealth industry is one of the industries fostered by the country due to the increase in demand due to aging, and efficient management activities are required for the sustainable growth of biohealth companies. Therefore, this study measured and analyzed the management efficiency of each company for bio-health companies and examined whether each company's management efficiency was differentiated according to market share.The subjects of the study were 17 biohealth companies listed in 2023, and difference analysis and DEA analysis methods were used. The analysis results are as follows. In the BCC-I model of the biohealth industry, efficient companies were analyzed as 13 companies in the CCR-I model, and 8 companies were analyzed as efficient companies in the CCR-I model. A total of nine companies were identified as having scale efficiency of "1", Inbody, Mediana, iSense, Corentec, Interrozo, Clasys, Ray, Dentis, and OneTech, and scale profitability was identified as 8 companies with a certain size, 7 companies with an increase in size, and 2 companies with a decrease in size. As a result of the BCC-I model analysis, Mediana accounted for the highest frequency with 3 times as an inefficient company in the biohealth industry, and Mediana showed the highest frequency with 8 times in the CCR-I model analysis result. In addition, while presenting the improvement rate of inefficient companies, figures that can be referenced in the management strategy of the biohealth industry were presented. As a result of analyzing the relationship between market share and management efficiency, the average of all measures of management efficiency was higher in the group with a high market share than the group with a low market share, but there was no statistically significant difference between the two groups. This study has implications that by analyzing the management efficiency of the biohealth industry, it can serve as an opportunity for companies to establish various management strategies to improve management efficiency, and that it provided useful information for investment decision-making to corporate stakeholders. In future research, it is necessary to expand and conduct research on R&D factors that can affect operational efficiency in the biohealth industry.
