퍼팅 시 퍼터 헤드 형태와 골프볼 에이밍 라인 유무에 따른 정렬 차이 분석

Objective: The purpose of this study was to examine the effects of putter head type and the presence of a ball aiming line on putting alignment accuracy. Method: Eighteen, right-eye dominant adult males with no prior golf experience participated in the study. Four experimental conditions were applied in a randomized order: (1) blade putter + without ball aiming line (BWOA), (2) blade putter + with ball aiming line (BWA), (3) mallet putter + without ball aiming line (MWOA), and (4) mallet putter + with ball aiming line (MWA). Participants performed three putting trials from a distance of 2 meters under each condition. A three-dimensional motion capture system was employed to analyze alignment variables during the putting stroke. A one-way repeated measures analysis of variance (ANOVA) was conducted using SPSS Version 28.0 to determine statistically significant differences among conditions. When significant effects were found, Bonferroni post hoc tests were used for pairwise comparisons. The level of significance was set at α = .05. Results: Results indicated that alignment angles between the target line and the putter face were significantly lower in the BWOA and BWA conditions compared to the MWOA condition. Additionally, the BWA condition showed significantly lower alignment angles than the BWOA condition, while the MWA condition also showed a significant decrease compared to MWOA. In terms of stance alignment, BWOA, BWA, and MWA conditions all demonstrated significantly reduced alignment angles relative to the MWOA condition. Furthermore, during the address, the BWA condition showed significantly improved alignment of the knee and hip joints compared to the MWA condition. At impact, the BWA condition exhibited significantly more accurate alignment of the knee and hip joints than the BWOA condition. Conclusion: These findings suggest that using a blade putter in combination with a golf ball aiming line positively influences alignment of the putter face, stance, and lower limb joints during putting, potentially enhancing putting performance.
