교사의 공감능력이 유아의 정서지능에 미치는 영향: 놀이교수효능감과 유아 놀이성의 순차적 이중매개효과

초록

This study examined the sequential dual mediation effect of play teaching efficacy and children's playfulness on the relationship between teachers' empathy and children's emotional intelligence. A survey was conducted with 320 homeroom teachers of five-year-old children working in D City and G City from July 21 to August 27, 2023. The collected data were analyzed using SPSS 26.0 and Process Macro 4.2. The results revealed significant correlations among teachers' empathy, play teaching efficacy, children's playfulness, and emotional intelligence. Furthermore, bootstrapping analysis confirmed a sequential dual mediation effect of play teaching efficacy and children's playfulness on the relationship between teachers' empathy and children's emotional intelligence, with children's playfulness showing a partial mediation effect. These results suggest that teachers' empathic responses and behaviors, along with play-related variables, play an important role in the development of emotional intelligence in young children. This study provides foundational data for identifying educational factors and practical approaches for enhancing children's emotional intelligence.
