사찰 꽃살문과 생성형 AI의 융합적 활용을 통한 마의 텍스타일디자인 개발

초록

This study was initiated to develop Korean style horse wear and supplies in a situation where the demand for horse-related products is increasing due to the expansion of various horse-related industries, but many products depend on imports. This paper analyzed the types of floral lattice doors and formative elements of Korean traditional temples for design development, completed a textile design suitable for textile development, and then attempted to express the horse wear design and saddle design as virtual images using generative AI. The research results and contents are as follows. Firstly, the current horse wear is classified by type into the integral, separate, partial, and saddle types. By use, it can be divided into five types: insect repellent horse wear for pest control, waterproof horse wear for protecting horses in rainy weather, cold weather horse wear for heat retention, heat protection horse wear for summer, and decorative horse wear for parade and event. Secondly, the types of floral lattice doors expressed in traditional temples are largely divided into tongpantujokkochsalmun, sos-eulkkochsalmun, biskkochsalmun, gyeogjakkochsalmun based on their formative characteristics. Thirdly, the motif design and textile design for the horse wear were developed with a square pattern in three colors of orange, blue, and yellow for Work 1. Work 2 emphasized the dynamic image by rotating the plum blossom by 45 degrees. Work 3 simplified the lotus into a form with an emphasis on the octagonal corners. Work 4 is designed a modern textile pattern by producing the peony blossom in a radial shape and arranging it in a triangular comb pattern structure. Fourth, we used ChatGPT 4.0 to create images of horse wear with textile designs applied. All four works produced results that applied prompts, and the horse textile designs were completed after more than four revisions. Based on the research results on the types of designs for each purpose of the horse wear derived from this study. It was found that the traditional temple floral lattice door can be optimized as a pattern suitable for the development of the horse wear design. It is expected that more horse wear designs will be developed through follow-up research in the future.
