메신저 대화에 나타나는 음운적 변이 양상과 특징

The purpose of this study is to identify the phonological variation patterns that appear in messenger conversations and to identify their tendencies and characteristics. To do this, we use the National Language Institute's messenger conversation piles. Identify the phonological aspects of messenger conversation in a quantitative way. It also studies the characteristics, tendencies and severity of phonological variation patterns observed in messenger conversations. As a result of the study, various vowel alternations observed, and they were replaced in a direction oriented towards vowel rising and labialization. And the phonological variants of messenger conversations often reflected the pronunciation of spoken language. In addition, a number of phonological variants that are not realized in spoken language have also been observed. This shows that while the messenger dialogue reflects the pronunciation of the spoken language, the phonological variation peculiar to the messenger is also realized. And phonological variations that reduce the number of syllables through abbreviations or dropouts are observed. This is to reduce the time and effort spent typing text in the messenger space and to make communication more efficient. In contrast, the number of syllables is also increased through the addition of vowels. This is done in order to characterize what is pronounced as a long sound in an actual utterance, or to convey the meaning of emphasis.
