This study is about "Sitansa", a lyrics of 17th-century reality criticism, and this work is a song that laments the current situation. A detailed analysis of "Sitansa" has not been conducted yet, but the short length of the work and the unknown author is the reason. In this paper, "Sitansa" is largely divided into three parts in terms of content, and "Sitansa" examines the state of the 17th century from a critical perspective. The first part of "Sitansa" exposes the ambivalence of the state and the behavior of the white crown, and the second part criticizes the state from Gwanghaejo to Hyeonjongjo. The author shows a critical perspective of revealing the state of affairs that he thinks are the most important for each dynasty and the behavior of a specific person. In the third part, the work ends by being wary of the state of the 17th century that the author is facing. Before and after the Imjin War, many works of real-life critical lyrics in the 17th century were created, and the re-evaluation of "Sitansa" must be made, and the status of "Sitansa" should be re-established through this study.
