『三國遺事』 人獸 交涉譚에 등장하는 純粹 動物과 異類의 비교 고찰

Animals appearing in “The Story of Human-Animal Relationships” of Samgukyousa can be divided into “pure animals” and “animals of different characteristics”. This paper is a comparison of each type of animal, focusing on its role and character in the work. In this study, the following three results could be drawn. First, the types of “The Story of Human-Animal Relationships” were divided into “pure animal stories,” “stories about animals of different characteristics”, and “complex stories”. Second, animals appearing in “The Story of Human-Animal Relationships” can be divided into major and peripheral beings according to the role they play in the work. Animals of different characteristics were generally found to play major roles, and pure animals were generally found to play peripheral roles. Third, ‘animals of different characteristics’ in “The Story of Human-Animal Relationships” of Samgukyousa tend to appear as good beings, but relatively often appear as evil beings, and ‘pure animals’ rarely appear as evil beings and almost all appear as good beings.
