The authors regret the typographical errors in the γ-oryzanol content in RBS reported on pages 114 and 119, the equivalent human dose adjusted for body surface area on page 114, and the funding statement on page 546. The sentence “The RBS was standardized to contain 439 mg/100 g of γ-oryzanol” should instead read as follows: "The RBS was standardized to contain 439 mg/g of γ-oryzanol". The sentence “In this study, the ethanolic extraction method yielded γ-oryzanol concentrations of 439 mg/100 g, which exceeded previously reported values [71,72]” should instead read as follows: "In this study, the ethanolic extraction method yielded γ-oryzanol concentrations of 439 mg/g, which exceeded previously reported values [71,72]". The sentence “the equivalent human dose, adjusted for body surface area, was estimated at ∼0 mg/kg/d” should instead read as follows: "the equivalent human dose, adjusted for body surface area, was estimated at ∼20 mg/kg/d". The sentence “This study did not receive external or competitive grant funding. All study-related expenses were covered by the Integrated Research Institute for Natural Ingredients and Functional Foods, an independent institute privately operated by the corresponding author. The study received nonfinancial technical support from the Food Functionality Evaluation Program (Ministry of Agriculture, Food and Rural Affairs) and the Korea Food Research Institute. The rice bran extract and placebo capsules were supplied free of charge by S & D Co., Ltd., which had no role in the study design, data collection, data analysis, interpretation of results, or manuscript preparation, and had no involvement in any scientific aspects of the study” should instead read as follows: " This study did not receive external or competitive grant funding. All study-related expenses were covered by the Integrated Research Institute for Natural Ingredients and Functional Foods, an independent institute privately operated by the corresponding author. The rice bran extract and placebo capsules were supplied free of charge by S & D Co., Ltd., which had no role in the study design, data collection, data analysis, interpretation of results, or manuscript preparation, and had no involvement in any scientific aspects of the study, and was supported by the Food Functionality Evaluation program under the Ministry of Agriculture, Food and Rural Affairs, and partly by the Korea Food Research Institute.". The authors would like to apologize for any inconvenience caused. The authors would also like to acknowledge and thank the following for pointing out these errors: Qianqian Mao, MD - Department of General Surgery, Cixi Maternity and Child Health Care Hospital, Ningbo, Zhejiang, China.
