폐플라스틱 기반 순환경제 활성화를 위한 국내·외 정책 및 시장 동향 분석

초록

As long as humans engage in productive activities such as population growth and economic development, waste is inevitably generated, and serious environmental pollution problems caused by plastic waste treatment are emerging as a global problem. Therefore, it is necessary to prepare a life-cycle strategy for the use, disposal, and recycling of plastics. In the context of a global energy crisis, a shift to a low-carbon circular economy using waste is necessary to realize national policies such as sustainable development, reduction of domestic energy import costs, reduction of greenhouse gas emissions, and response to the climate crisis. A circular economy seeks sustainability through the efficient use of resources and can contribute to both environmental protection and greenhouse gas reduction. Consequently, this study analyzed domestic and international policies and market trends for solving the problem of waste plastics from the perspective of a circular economy for the realization of carbon neutrality and considered the application methods for industrial complexes.
