상주 죽암촌 서계 가문의 학문과 문풍

초록

This study approaches the academic lineage and literary atmosphere of the Seogye Kim Dam-su family in Juk-am Village, Sangju, from the perspective of Riverbank Studies(江岸學). Seogye family possessed the practical ethics based on the "Elementary Learning"(小學) and a realistic poetic spirit through Du Fu's poetry, which are characteristic of the scholarship along the Nakdong River. Kim Damsu, his sons Kim Jeongryong and Kim Jeonggyon, and his seventh-generation descendant Kim Dongpil are the main subjects of research, all of whom are associated with Nagam Seowon(Confucian academy). The scholarship of the Seo Gye family in Jugamchon centered around the "Elementary Learning"(小學). Among the characteristics of the Gangahn school of thought, convergence and practicality are particularly prominent. The literary style evolved over time, showing diverse literary features: Kim Damsu and Kim Jeongryong, based on their war experiences, pursued the melancholic and sorrowful style of Du Fu; Kim Jeonggyeon sought the grand and refreshing style of Su Shi; and Kim Dongpil pursued the reclusive ideology of Tao Yuanming and Zhu Xi's poetic expression of emotions and nature. The Seogye family of Jukamchon in Sangju sought to balance strength and flexibility. While maintaining a realistic worldview based on the "Elementary Learning"(小學), they also demonstrated a flexible literary style that expressed patriotic sentiments through Du Fu's poetry and incorporated the styles of Su Shi, Tao Qian, and Zhu Xi. How this harmony between strength and flexibility played a role in the local community remains a topic for further research.
