Angle reduction and reduction malarplasty are the most popular bone contouring surgeries to correct square-shaped faces in East Asians. These pro-cedures are not only performed in young women, with increasing demand in male and older adults as well. Before performing surgery, meticulous planning and a thorough understanding of surgical techniques, related anatomic structures, and po-tential risks are necessary to achieve a harmo-nious face while ensuring surgical safety.
