꼭지 무절단 사과 생산의 농가수용의사금액 분석

초록

The purpose of this study is to analyze farmers' willingness to accept(WTA) for producing stem clipping-free apples using the contingent valuation method(CVM). A total of 404 responses from a double-bounded dichotomous choice survey were analyzed using an interval regression model. The analysis revealed that farmers with experience in apple production without stem clipping, older farmers, farmers with lower levels of production technology, and those with higher educational levels exhibited a higher WTA. Additionally, farmers with lower annual total income and those located in the Cheongsong region showed higher WTA. The calculated WTA for producing stem clipping-free apples was 46,923 KRW, indicating that farmers are willing to accept an average 10% price reduction due to lower auction prices associated with this practice. These findings provide valuable policy insights for promoting the adoption of stem-clipping-free apple production through targeted support and gradual implementation to address both production costs and market challenges.
