해방기 오장환 시론 연구 ―‘인간 되기’의 실천과 미학적 정치성의 실험―

초록

In this paper, I examine Oh Jang-hwan’s poetics during the Liberation period, focusing on his experimental practice of “becoming human” and on the aesthetic politicality that permeates his writings. Through a close reading of his theoretical statements on poetry, I demonstrate how he conceived poetry as inextricably linked to its historical conditions, and how the specific context of post‑liberation Korea created a space for realizing a new form of “being human.” By framing poetry as a practice of “becoming human,” Oh Jang-hwan’s poetics extend beyond the confines of the literary text to engage directly with life and society, thereby challenging the modern dichotomy between art and lived experiences. Moreover, his insistence on dissolving the boundary between art and ideology reveals that for him, both artistic creation and political engagement lie within the realm of aesthetics. Oh Jang-hwan’s poetics thus anticipate a “politics of poetry” that transcends textual limits and operates in the broader social sphere.
