한반도 중부 화강암 침식분지의 지표 기복 분석 - 춘천, 원주, 영주, 보은 분지를 사례로 -

초록

This study tried to reveal relationship between surface relief and denudation in granitic erosional basins such as the Chuncheon, Wonju, Yeongju and Boeun Basins, with relief analysis, petrological properties and incision rate distribution. The highest and lowest surface relief was found from the Wonju and Chuncheon Basins, respectively. The Yeongju Basin can be characterized by high elevation and gentlysloped low relief. The Boeun Basin showed moderate surface relief. The low relief in the Chuncheon Basin can be attributed to petrological properties less-resistant to weathering process as well as to geomorphic properties such as confluence of large rivers. With petrological properties resistant to weathering process, high incision rate was thought to be responsible for high relief in the Wonju Basin. Less-resistant rock and high incision rate due to geographical proximity to the uplift axes were regarded as main causes of gentlysloped low relief in the Yeongju Basin.
