지속가능발전목표(SDGs) 학습(지각)에 따른 정책집행 성과 인식: 공무원 설문조사를 통한 실험설계

초록

With the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) now serving as a global agenda, South Korea re-enacted the Sustainable Development Basic Act in 2022. For the objectives of this law to be met, the awareness and engagement of local government officials are key. This study examines how well local government officials understand sustainable development policies and explores whether their perception of the relevance of these policies to their work affects their views on policy implementation. To investigate this, we conducted a survey experiment comparing a experimental group and a control group to assess the learning effects of providing information on SDGs. The results showed that those who received information about sustainable development, and recognized its relevance to their work, had clearer goals and a positive understanding of policy implementation. The results also suggest that offering information during the survey process can help enhance officials' understanding of the policies for which they are responsible.
