초록

This study aims to evaluate the radiation dose reduction effect of the E-Mask for lens protection and its clinical applicability during general radiographic examinations. Using an anthropomorphic phantom and a Multi-Function Radiation Meter, lens radiation exposure levels were quantitatively measured, and the personal dose equivalent was compared between conditions with and without the E-Mask. The results demonstrated a significant reduction in lens radiation exposure with E-Mask use across all examination types, with reductions exceeding 95% in lumbar spine and abdominal radiography. These findings highlight the effectiveness of the E-Mask as a radiation shielding device and emphasize its potential as a practical protective measure for minimizing lens radiation exposure and enhancing patient safety in clinical radiographic procedures.
