복지기술 활용과 사회복지사의 경험에 대한 탐색적 연구

초록

This study explored the use of welfare technology in community welfare centers and examined the experiences of ten social workers in its application, through in-depth interviews. Results revealed that social workers applied welfare technology in both administrative duties and service provision, reporting positive effects such as efficiency and improved information sharing, alongside challenges and limitations. Despite technological advancements, they recognized that core professional roles—such as comprehensive needs assessment, network organizing, and supporting the formation and strengthening of social support systems—cannot be replaced by welfare technology. They were also critically reflecting on the necessary conditions and preparations required for the future expansion of welfare technology. Based on these findings, recommendations were made to strengthen technology-related education and values in university and continuing professional training, enhance service delivery systems, and reinforce the professional role of social workers in the digital era.
