간호대학생의 신종감염병에 대한 두려움, 그릿, 간호전문직관이 진로정체감에 미치는 영향

초록

Purpose: The purpose of this study was to examine influential factors for career identity of nursing students. Methods: A total of 184 nursing students in D and K city participated in this study. Data were collected from self-reported questionnaires between September 1, 2022 and September 30. Collected data were analyzed by descriptive statistics, an independent t-test, an One-way ANOVA, Pearson’s correlation coefficients, and multiple linear regression, using IBM SPSS Statistics version 29.0 program. Results: The results showed that career identity of nursing students was positively correlated with grit (r=.34, p<.001), nursing professionalism (r=.44, p<.001), and negatively correlated with fear of emerging infectious diseases (r=-.21, p<.001). The factors that influence on career identity of nursing students were fear of emerging infectious diseases (β=-.34, p<.001), grit (β=.32, p<.001), nursing professionalism (β=.27, p<.001), grade 4 (β=.31, p<.001) and grade 3 (β=.24, p=.001). These variables explained 42% of the career identity. Conclusion: It is needed to develop educational programs to reduce the fear of emerging infectious diseases to increase career identity of nursing students. In addition, it is necessary to develop programs that enhance nursing professionalism and strengthen grit capability.
