The Gauss map is a useful tool to examine submanifolds of Euclidean space. It is a map of a submanifold into a Euclidean space defined by parallel displacement of oriented planes gotten from the submanifold to the Grassmann manifold. In this paper, ruled submanifolds of Euclidean space with generalized 1-type Gauss map are studied and classified.
