화학물질 제조산업의 경영효율성 분석: 수출 비중을 중심으로

· Research topics: The purpose of this study is to analyze management efficiency in the chemical manufacturing industry and to analyze the relationship between export share and management efficiency. · Research background:The chemical manufacturing industry has a great influence on other domestic industries. However, currently, management is difficult due to strengthening environmental regulations and a decline in overseas market share. To solve this problem, it is necessary to analyze the management efficiency of each company. · Differences from prior research: This study suggested a way to remove inefficient factors. In addition, the relationship between export share and management efficiency was empirically analyzed. · Research method: This study used the DEA model, and the relationship between export share and management efficiency was conducted through difference analysis. · Research results: As a result of the analysis, 15 companies in the BCC-I model, 8 companies in the CCR model, and 8 companies in scale efficiency performed efficient management activities. In addition, there was no significant relationship between export share and management efficiency. · Contribution points and expected effects: This study provided numerical data to achieve efficient frontier for inefficient factors. In addition, it is expected that it will provide information necessary for investment decision-making to external parties of the company, and useful information for policy making to export policy makers.
