초록

Based on numerous areas of studies including myth, religion, philosophy and neuroscience, this paper suggests that lexical items lack both a concrete semantic meaning and categorial information in mental lexicon. In support of this hypothesis, termed as 'lexical underspecification,' this paper presents two important pieces of evidence: (i) object movement in Korean, and (ii) the ban on quantifier floating in Θ-positions.
