서스펜스 영화에 나타난 미장센: 박찬욱의 <헤어질 결심>과 히치콕의 영화 비교

초록

Suspense films always make the most of the film medium as a comprehensive art in the midst of a process of indeterminacy and the sense of crisis and climax that the process evokes, with the characteristics of creating dramatic tension through the process of searching for the truth. Therefore, the narrative of the suspense film is turbulent and the scenes that take place in it create a dynamism of the textual unconscious that is ambiguous in itself in an exotic mise-en-scène. Decision to Leave(2022) is a suspense film that embodies various mise-en-scène well. Alfred Hitchcock, a master of suspense films, has also successfully implemented the suspense genre. This study seeks to compare and consider the characteristics of Decision to Leave and mise-en-scène embodied in Hitchcock’s films.
